License grant
Subject to payment and these terms, Justas Raudonius grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and run the self-hosted Okapi software on one instance for your internal business or personal use and for no more than the seats included in your plan.
You may make reasonable backup copies and allow contractors to operate the licensed instance for you, provided you remain responsible for their compliance. A separate license is required for another independent production instance unless the offer expressly says otherwise.
Ownership
Okapi is licensed, not sold. Justas Raudonius and applicable licensors retain all rights in the software, documentation, branding, and updates. You retain ownership of your data and configuration.
Restrictions
Do not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publicly host for unrelated third parties, remove ownership notices, bypass license or plan enforcement, or use the software to build a substantially competing hosted service.
You may inspect and configure the software as documented. Any restriction applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not prohibit an activity that applicable law expressly allows despite contract terms.
Updates and perpetual fallback
An active annual license includes updates released during its coverage period. If coverage ends, you may continue running the latest version whose release was covered. Renewing restores access to then-current covered updates.
A lapse does not stop ingest, delete data, or reduce the last cached entitlements. A newer release whose database migrations are outside your coverage may refuse to migrate; in that case, continue with or roll back to the latest covered version.
License checks and telemetry
A licensed instance periodically checks license and update status. Product events, stack traces, logs, source code, project names, DSNs, and end-user personal data are not included in that check. The fields, frequency, offline behavior, and available controls are documented in the Telemetry disclosure.
If the service cannot be reached, the instance is never degraded below its cached license state. An unactivated instance does not send a licensed check-in.
Termination
This license ends if you materially breach it and do not cure the breach after reasonable notice, where cure is possible. On termination for breach, stop using and delete licensed copies. Ending paid update coverage by cancellation is not termination of the perpetual fallback license.
Disclaimers
The self-hosted software is provided on an “as available” basis. You are responsible for deployment, database administration, security, backups, upgrades, and recovery. We do not guarantee that it captures every event or operates without interruption.
Mandatory warranties and remedies that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected. The liability limits in the Terms of Service apply to the license.
